Thank the Stars for Meade mySKY Personal Guide

sky guide 1
This gizmo takes your star gazing to the next level. If you think telescopes are slammin’, then you better be ready because your eyes definitely pop with this one of a kind astronomy gadget. The folks at the Enterprise aren’t the only ones who can get to closely know heavenly bodies anymore. With the Meade mySKY Personal Guide, anybody can be an astronomy authority. Astronomy nuts would probably fight tooth and claw to get one. Or maybe not, what with its hefty $399 tag price. But still, for someone deeply interested in heavenly bodies, this is a great investment. Read on to understand why.

Sky Guide 2

This gadget has advanced features to satisfy any astronomy fanatic. First off, perhaps the first thing you should know is that all you have to do is point to the sky and wait (see now why it looks like a gun out of Star Trek?). The Meade mySKY Personal Guide can and will identify heavenly bodies — stars, galaxies, planets, and nebulas among many other objects. This is made possible through its GPS 12-channel receiver which makes tracking positions automatic. The identified heavenly bodies will be projected as astrophotos on the small LCD accompanied by a commentary of their description by Sandy Wood. Such audio descriptions are more than 500 in number so you’re sure to be occupied for more than just a couple of starry nights.

If all those features are not enough, then you must know that the Meade mySKY Personal Guide comes with a 256 memory card, headphones, and a rechargeable battery which lasts up to seven hours. If I ever have the extra cash in the future, I’d definitely get a hold of this beauty. Only IF I do get the extra cash. Thing is, if you aren’t really living and breathing astronomy, this could get old quickly. I would recommend re-examining your reasons for considering purchase. But hey, if you’re totally sure you want to, then click on the link below and enjoy shopping.
